RE: SES Director Nomination – Deadline November 16, 2007

Dear SES Members,

The Society of Engineering Science ( http://www.sesinc.org/) elects new members to its Board of Directors each fall for a three-year term. SES also fills additional vacancies in the Board at this time. The Board of Directors manages the Society, and therefore Directors should
contribute ideas for the continued success and growth of the society, help arrange symposia, and attend annual meetings. The Directors are elected by a vote of the general SES membership.

The SES Nominating Committee (members: Brian Moran, Scott White, Stan Berger, Greg McKenna) seeks your help in identifying potential candidates who would serve our Society in this capacity. There is no need to get the prior approval of the nominee (the committee will handle that) and self-nominations are welcome.

Please send your nominations (name, contact address, and a short sentence or two about the candidate) to me either by email (b-moran@northwestern.edu; please say "SES Director Nomination" in the subject) or by regular mail before November 16, 2007.
